coming april 1....
TONY CONRAD, GENESIS BREYER P-ORRIDGE and MORRISON EDLEY will reprise their ongoing improvisational sonic explorations of two violins and percussion in a live disconcert on WFMU Radio. They will create musics intuitively on WFMU on April 1st 2010, and, NO!, this is not, repeat NOT! an April Fool’s joke. They really WILL be playing a live set hosted by FABIO a lifelong friend and supporter of both their musics. Unfortunately for those of you just becoming aware of these recently manifesting collaborations their DAIS Records vinyl only live album “TAKING ISSUE” sold out long ago but DAIS Records is always releasing fascinating and groundbreaking musics so check out their website www.daisrecords.com and make sure you don’t get left empty handed and thereby empty-eared!
